I am an Interactive Marketing professional, with a focus on Internet Yellow Pages, Search Engine Optimization, and Search Engine Marketing. I enjoy every aspect of this industry, including optimizing campaigns, analytics, creative writing, and all the in between.

I am originally from Muscatine, Iowa. I attended Iowa State University for English Rhetoric & Technical Communication. I fell into the online marketing field in my first job out of college. I was hired by a training/consulting firm as a Customer Service Rep focused on writing email follow ups. Within a couple months I was writing email promotions, managing our events schedule on the website, setting up autoresponders, updating our website, and doing SEO for our 4 product websites. I owe my success to having a great manager then who saw my talent and pushed me with constant feedback and a drive to be innovative.

Outside of work, I enjoy bicycling, home improvement projects, and spending time at the cabin up north. I am a member of MIMA (Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association) as a a way to keep me inspired and hear what others in the industry are doing.

I moved to Minneapolis in 2007 and got married a couple months later to my college sweetheart. We have 1 daughter, a German Shepherd named Willow, who loves to cuddle on the couch with us and will go anywhere we go.
